Markets across the board ended in the red on Monday. Omicron fears and inflation worries are driving market sentiments right now.

For us at Viral Stocks, our focus is on individual names that are not geared towards the wider market. By focusing on microeconomic factors rather than macro headwinds, investors can outperform the markets. There are plenty of opportunities for our subscribers in Nasdaq and NYSE penny stocks with low floats, news, and a significant short position.

Smart investors know that if you want to make the big money off a small account, the place to be is in penny stocks. There are many good Nasdaq and NYSE penny stocks that can boost your portfolio’s value in the long term. For investors, we preach the key to trading penny stocks is finding momentum BEFORE it happens and ahead of the crowd.

If you watch the Viral Stocks YouTube channel, you can get a sense of what we look for in identifying hot Nasdaq and NYSE stocks.

It’s also best to own a portfolio of penny stocks. For some, that can be as many as 10 to 20 or more stocks. This provides diversification and allows one to manage the market’s moods much easier.

In this article, we look at 4 hot Nasdaq stocks. They are Galera Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: GRTX), SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), and Society Pass Incorporated Common Stock (NASDAQ: SOPA).

Hot Nasdaq Stocks #1 GRTX

GRTX continues to run on the back of amended statistical significance data from its phase 3 trial of its drug to treat those undergoing radiation therapy.

The trial assessed the drug, avasopasem, in treating radiotherapy-induced tissue swelling in the mouth in patients with locally advanced head and neck cancer. The corrected data means the phase 3 trial achieved statistical significance on the primary endpoint of reduction in the incidence of this condition

The FDA has granted avasopasem with Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD) for the reduction of swelling in the mouth induced by radiotherapy.

Galera had previously announced data that showed statistical significance on the primary endpoint was not achieved. The company cited an error by the contract research organization. “Correction of this error resulted in improved p-values for the primary and secondary endpoints.”

As you can see from the chart below, GRTX broke the downtrend line. After consolidating at the $3 level, GRTX has no immediate resistance until $7.

Hot NASDAQ Stocks #2 SEAC

SEAC is running after Bloomberg reported that Triller, a social-video platform that counts TikTok among its rivals, is in talks to go public through a merger with Seachange International Inc.

A transaction could be announced as soon as this week, said the person, who requested anonymity because the talks are private. A transaction is set to value Triller at a premium to its most recent valuation, which was $1.25 billion, according to PitchBook.

Los Angeles-based Triller, like TikTok, says its proprietary artificial intelligence technology lets users post short-form videos with music and filters. The app has counted former U.S. President Donald J. Trump, Justin Bieber, and Alicia Keys among its verified users, and has been downloaded 250 million times, its website shows.

As you can see from the chart below, SEAC broke through resistance at $1.70 a share. With just a $111 million market, SEAC can keep climbing if a deal with Triller is indeed announced.

Hot NASDAQ Stocks #3 SOPA

SOPA ran 240% on Monday after announcing being added to the Russell 2000 Index, effective at the opening of the U.S. markets on December 20, 2021, according to the preliminary list of IPO additions to the Russell indexes.

Dennis Nguyen, CEO of Society Pass, commented, “This is an exciting milestone for Society Pass to reach soon after our successful IPO in November. Being a part of these highly regarded and widely used indexes will bring greater market awareness to our Company as we work to achieve our goals for growth and expansion in Southeast Asia.”

As you can see from the chart below, SOPA was a busted IPO due for a bounce. SOPA was a great trade with RSI levels still oversold signaling more bounce possible. There are just 11 million shares in the float.
